My latest acoustic piece: Wayfarer - a demo recorded on my iPhone with internal mic. Hopefully makes you think of traveling through Asia and or nostalgia...
acoustic original world
I am a singer/ songwriter, guitarist and mixing Engineer. I am always busy with anything music related. From Writing and Mixing for TV ads and film to mixing and or remixing for artists. I have been upgrading my studio gear and slowly building a nice mic locker. I am a guitarist as my first passion. I still play daily, always improving my game. My first love is for the electric guitar. So, I tend favor rock related music as long as it's interesting to listen to and play. Grunge, instrumental rock, hard rock, blues, metal, but also country, jazz and other styles on electric guitar are interesting to me. I have always enjoyed acoustic guitars as well. I have a new passion, Gypsy Jazz. Essentially shredding on the acoustic! Of course, McLaughlin, Paco and Di Meola have been doing this for years, too. Main guitarists who were my biggest influences for electric guitar? I would have to say Jimi, Page, Clapton, Eddie Van Halen, Angus/Malcom Young, Tony Iommi, Recently for the first time in my life, I have experimented with modelers, particularly the plug in Eleven in my Protools DAW. Of course, modelers are still not the quality or replacement for a real nice amp, pedals etc... but it is fun and still very useful for track layering. Tone chasing has been an expensive passion over the last 8 years or so, but I think I found out everything I needed to know. I learned and acquired most of the pedals and amps that I really wanted. Sure they're will always be wish lists...and of course, the quest to find that magic guitar and in different types and or building is an endless thing... thank God. ;)
