Story behind the song
Mike handed me these lyrics one day saying that he would like to make this a beautiful ballad. I went over and over these lyrics with different approaches and could not come up with anything I liked as a ballad. I was doing a lot of gigs in the great state of Louisiana at the time and tried a "Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez" approach to this song and that seemed to work out better.
