Story behind the song
I was motivated to write and dedicate this song to two beautiful women that were my close friends. They were Anna Barbara Mitchell of Memphis, Tennessee and Carolyn Powell-Simon of Quincy, Florida. I recently lost both of them to breast cancer. They were angels in my life and very good people. I plan to donate some of the proceeds from this CD to the Breast Cancer Foundation to help find a cure for this horrible disease. I admonish all women to check themselves with a self-examination continuously to help prevent anything (if found) from spreading and getting worse. If the Breast Cancer Foundation is interested, I would like to have them use this creation as their theme song.
