This is an instrumental inspired by those who have shown the courage to overcome. I hope it will in some way help those still striving to to over come. For them, know though we remain unseen, many of us are there in our hearts, hopes and prayers.

I tend towards blues based material, though not really standard blues. I suppose blues-rock or blues-country would be closer. I compose my own material and I
Welcome to the home recording area known for Anderson Lake Blues Project. It is a home recording outlet for an old guitar hack. It is largely pushed original work where I play every part. Listen at your own risk.

Story behind the song
Note Anderson Lake Blues Project is a single person who pretends to be a band. The members are extensions of himself in some way. Well, for this tune the band came back together. They are still a bit at odds with one another. I don’t recall that I ever introduced the band members. Perhaps now is a good time to do so. There are 3 key members. The drummer, Crash, is a bit more like John Bonham than Neil Peart (if you don’t know them wiki). He is not given to deep thought, but has a special way with fun. He brings the levity when it is needed, and sometimes when it is not so appreciated by his colleagues. He thinks the guitar player and bass player are a bit full of themselves. They miss the point. Party! The bass player is Thump. He is a closet guitarist. He is quite serious. He is the “have to understand” guy. “Why?” is his favorite question. He is quite social. He wants to be in with the crowd. Perceptions are important to him. The final member is the guitar player, Cord. He is somewhat of a recluse and introvert. He lives between his ears, and does not understand the others motivation much of the time. He watches. Music, for him, is the end in itself. He just wants to find a way to play as it is his solace. As noted Crash feels the bass player can’t keep a beat and over plays. He thinks Thump plays bass like a guitar player. Note for Crash that is not a compliment. Crash thinks Cord is a grandstander. They both miss the point of the band. Fun. Thump also feels the guitar player is a bit of a grandstander. He also thinks Cord is a bit too arrogant and should be taken down a notch. Thump is frustrated that the drummer does not take the group and music serious enough. Thump is always looking for a group to hand with feeling this band allows him to meet the type of people he wants to meet. Thump feels he would do better as the guitarist than Cord. Cord is the one who brought the band together. He also feels Crash should take things more seriously. He feels Thump needs to back off a bit and not be so critical. He believed Thump worries too much about others, and really should focus on the art of the music. Cord does not really seem to care if the music is liked by others as much as he worries he will not like what they accomplish musically. Note the whole "band" thing is intended as tongue in cheek. Humor. Nothing else. I am not really psychotic. I don't think I am anyway.
