Love triangles! What fun!
Lyrics
(Verse 1)
My sweet, golden haired girl, why couldn't I be your man?
You were the tune in my heart, but I did not understand
There were three verses to that song, that song that we wrote
And it was hard to play a melody, when you've only got one note

I wanted to sing...sing a sweet, sweet melody
But I found out that she would not sing...sing along with me
She wrote a different song, that's was far more chic and cool
And she left me with a triangle, to try to play the blues

I wrote a simple song, to express just how I felt
But she didn't like the words, and she said they were misspelled
She wanted to add another note, to make it more profound
And in the three corners of the triangle, I was the one without a sound
