Power ballad with a hint of surf rock. Inspired by one of my favorite girls, flying or not.
Big room male vocals that bring the band Simple Minds to the mind Expect a freeflowing and lyrical passion from a master songwriter Mother Grimm

Story behind the song
-I think Amelia is one of the best written tunes I think I've ever heard. If you ever book a gig in NY and need guys for a back up group please don't hesitate to ask. -Just gave "Amelia" a hi-fi play....truly excellent! The vocal is powerful and moving!
Lyrics
CD: Begin Again Label: Tenfold Music Credits: © Bruce Cook/Overcast in A (ASCAP) Lead Guitar: Billy Katz Lyrics Somewhere in the sky tonight I thought I heard you Just overhead you beckoned me to come fly To another place and time Somewhere in my mind tonight I thought I saw you Like a freedom fighter running breathlessly by Through the corner of my eye Amelia in lovely shades of grey Amelia like a cold dark summer's day At times I wish I knew Why I lost touch with you You used to laugh about those other guys and say: "Anybody could see. What was real and what was just handed down." It was all the same to me. Somewhere in the world tonight I thought I touched you On a dusty page with words that nobody knew And a photo from the moon Amelia in lovely shades of gray Amelia like a cold dark summer's day You're out there somewhere calling my name

Okay, funny story, but my name is Amelia. I love this! The sound is really nice--a good beat and good vocals without being over-the-top-in-your-face about it.
