The preacher preached about personal sin
and the need for radical conversion.
And a few stepped up for the altar call
to receive their baptismal immersion.
I stood up in the pews and said to them
there’s another way to make it alright,
“Come follow me to the Plano Super Bowl

The businessman gave a TedX talk
on how to make it big in this life.
He’d started out as poor as can be
but now he had power, position, and a trophy wife.
I stood up in that TedX talk and shouted,
“This can’t be truth, this can’t be right!
Let’s all go down the Plano Super Bowl
where ladies bowl free on Thursday night!”
And the folks started coming, two by two,
four by four, and then entire crowds.
The balls were rolling and gutters were empty
as the spares and strikes came crashing down.
The world and its problems stopped at the door
and inside everything was alright.
