I am a musical journeyman, and have been recording (on and off) in a home studio, since about 1988. I experiment with different forms, methods, and styles,
I began to recording on a cassette 4-track (Tascam Porta-One) in 1988, and enjoying the whole process of recording sounds, I then purchased an Atari ST, running Cubase Vs1. I moved on to a digital 8-track in about 1998 (Roland VS-880) and then to a more modern mac setup, which I'm using now. I am a visual artist, as well as a musical experimenter, an dI believe this does inform the way I work.

Story behind the song
This kind of emerged in the last few days, kind of Middle Eastern (Exotica) linked to an old poem!
Lyrics
Teetotal Totems Teetotal Totem's shouting out, ho hum, ho, ho, ho hum, Never pick a fight with an eye in the sky, never sink in the rum, Reality TV's, life in a 12 mile mall, watch the store detectives, hurtle on down, and listen to the babie's squall, ho hum, ho, ho, ho hum, Chrome and aggro, sweating hairy arms, gesticulating bile, and it's all the same, mile after mundane mile, ho hum, ho hum, But escape is inside, come on and take a sly ride, through these corridors of time, ho hum, ho hum!
