Story behind the song
Went back to the original 1865 poem by Christina Rossetti (in the public domain) and created new melody and music avoiding the slow choir hymn. I thought the lyrics played well done faster. I added a new chorus to tie it all together, but I stayed largely true to the original verses and lyrics.
