This song was inspired by my 1st wife and her painful battle with cancer. She passed away on Dec 1st 2023 RIP L. A.

Wisdom in these words/lyrics with a great melody and I agree on your "throaty" vocal tone that works really well especially on this song. Nice to also hear the space in the music when the bass lines shine. Really nice work, Dale!

This tune has reflected in my mind as a beautiful rock ballad. Some kind of sincere and heartfelt story with a distinct shade of not so light sadness. Genuine as all you do, Dale... Well, I think this song is a good luck of yours.

Great ballad you have written here, Dale. The story of the dancing girl is something you can relate to and the sad and melancholy tone in the song, really touches your heart. Wonderful work on the strings and keys. Your voice really shines in this one!

Really fine song here Dale. Thought provoking lyrics that generate good imagery. Your vocals are always excellent.. and like Bob said, there is a Bryan Adams vibe here. The production was ace... love the vocals out front where they can be heard clearly. The B3 in there was nice touch...actually all the instrumentation fit together real well. A sad song to be sure, but very well done on all counts. Bravo!

Excellent production and sound quality. A very difficult and emotional subject which I would find impossible to write about, so I admire your ability to create something with such sensitivity in very challenging circumstances.
