Story behind the song
Mitch McConnell, the power mongering Senate Majority Leader, had the audacity to refuse to bring to a confirmation vote (then) President Obama's nomination of Judge Garland for the Supreme Court for about a year. In the run up to the 2018 congressional election, there is undue haste to confirm the notably partisan, presidential brown-nosing Brett Kavanaugh for a lifetime appointment. Even without the recently raised questions of misconduct, the whole ordeal is shameful.
