Story behind the song
The Deep Afro Dub is an experiment into trying to show the deep african roots of reggae music..It's built over the soukous riddim so popular in Ivory Coast and Congo.. Prominence is given to percussion and the tipical syncopated drumbeat...Towards the end the full soukous riddim takes shape with its classical guitarlicks and bassline... Making this one has been real fun and happiness..building those riddims made me think of many fundamental things all we must always keep on mind: We all belong to Mama Africa where mankind has its origins..We must love Mama Africa and do our best to uplift her and its peoples..
