1) What made me start this business? I started singing at the age of 7 in church. What made me start getting into music as a profession was knowing that music is my passion. I wake up and breath music everyday. I like telling my stories or the stories of others. My goal is to change lives. 2) What obsticles did i have to overcome? I had to overcome the obsticles of those telling stories of who they know knowing they do not know them. The obsticle of people using me for money so they felt they can take advantage of me and most of all, the obsticle of not being believed in by those who say they did buy did not mean it. They believe in my music but not my goal to success. 3) I learned that most people will tell you what you want to hear just to use you and then there are others you that want to see you succeed. Choose your friends and people you choose to work with wisely. Do your research and know all the variables. It will save you a lot of trouble. 4) My goal in this business is to get rich but be successful. 5) The most fun i have had so far was meeting so many talented artist and getting to know successful people in the business such as Coolio and his manager, Pretty Ricky, Zackary Ceaser with REG Entertainment, etc. 6) What surprised me most are the number of people that support my music across the world. It feels good knowing you reach other countries and cities that others dream about visiting. 7) I love being my own boss because it gives me the flexability i need in order to make good music. On the other hand im not really my own boss in most aspects because i have managers and others to refer to. I mean, yes the work for me but i also work for them as well. Its a win win situation in most situations. Lol 8) I wouldn't change anything because life is a learning experience. Without learning then i would not be where i am today and know what I know. If there was one thing i wish i knew before anything it would be about contracts. Always use one even when its family involved because even family can cross you. 9) The advice I give others are to make friends and network with everyone you meet. Dress to impress and stay focused. You never know who you will meet. Always be open to knew ideas and opinions. Work together and expand on them. Become greater then yourself. 11) I wish people would understand this life is not an easy road and it is very expensive but you must invest in yourself before anyone invests there time and or money into you. 12) On my off time i spend time with my family and kids. Every now and then hang out with my friends. But mostly i am always thinking of music and writing songs. Arranging them, etc. As I stated previously my mind is always on music. 13) I market myself on Instagram, Reverbnation, Twitter, etc and do a lot of contest in which people can win products for knowing and learning about me and my music. 14) As far as my future goes, I have already seen the vision of myself being successful. I know i will be able to take care of my family and make all the non believers believers. 15) My next goal is to go main stream with my music so everyone knows my name 'Justin Brown.' I am aiming to sign a contract with a record label that will get me to where i am dreamt of being for over 10 years.
