Beats with that late 90's Bounce and influence.
Producer from the Bay Area, CA. I been making music for the past 15 years (Since I was 19). I was listening to almost every genre of music thanks to my parents. I remember when I was 15, my parents bought me a keyboard and I use to jam with my dad (who played the drums). I was interested listening to instrumentals growing up. My favorite kind of music was listening to 70's Jazz, R&B, and Funk. Songs back than use to be longer and focused mainly on the musicians. When I was older I became a huge fan of Timbaland back in 97' who inspired me to create my own music. I met my brother in law's friend KCA (Reggae producer from Oakland) and use to visit his studio. He took notice of how I wanted to make beats and let me borrow his Ensoniq keyboard. I hooked it up to my boombox where I would sample sounds from my cd's and save it on a floppy drive built in the keyboard. I got my name WATTZ from making beats thru my boombox speakers.
