A jazzy samba for Raniesha!
I like to compose music and write lyrics.
Actually, "the band" is only me, composing and recording songs with the assistance of digital music creation software.
Story behind the song
This is the first song I wrote intentionally, and not because I was waiting for "The Muse" to visit me. It was inspired by the irresistibly attractive personality of a young lady named "Raniesha" who works the cash register at the local Safeway grocery store in Lakewood, WA. She's kind, enthusiastic, and radiates goodwill to ALL of her customers while standing on her feet and working like there's no tomorrow. So, of course, I just had to compose a song about her!

VERSE 1
Whos the one, that greets you like she knows you well?
And like the sun, her smile holds you in its spell
Oh, everyone, who doesnt know, I guess Ill tell
Raniesha is her name and shes my friend
VERSE 2
I wait for her, even though the line is long
She makes me feel, like she would never do me wrong
I promised her, that one day I would write this song
Raniesha is her name and shes my friend
BRIDGE
Sometimes Raniesha seems happy
And sometimes Raniesha seems sad
If music has powers of healing
Maybe this song could make her heart glad!
VERSE 3
One day, I hope, that God rewards Raniesha for her long, hard work
And blesses her with money and a lot of perks
So, she wont live a life of hurt
Raniesha is her name and shes my friend
REFRAIN
And good friends we will be until the end
May she have everything she needs to live
And always get back everything she gives
Ad-lib to fade-out
