There is no band, I do it all on my own. My music is a guitar driven sound. Kind of what I like to call In Your Face Rock. I love to play & hope others will enjoy it as well.

Story behind the song
For a week I kept thinking of my friend Terry. also know as Rudy Ray. For some reason I thought the 1 year was a few months away. A week later I finished the music, My wife walked in & said that sounds good what's it gonna be about. I said I don't know but this voice keeps popping' in my head saying Rudy Ray over & over again. So I threw my hands in the air & said, OK Terry, I hear you, I'll call it Rudy Ray. Two days later I found my old phone from last year & hit the power button it came on. When I looked it was on the calendar page & Terry's one year was marked. I looked at it & noticed his anniversary was on the same day I kept hearing the voice & agreed to name it after him. I saw it & said that's it. It is definitely gonna be called Rudy Ray. So it is written, so it has been done! My friend Terry was my 1st inspiration as a lead guitarist. This is a tribute to him.
Lyrics
The Ballad of Rudy Ray Alexander Aruca Hot summer night when he came to town, we first met at the underground pulled out that Gibson & started to play & what I heard just took me away Six legged lover that's what she was named A sweet guitar that brought him his fame I watched & learned as he played every note ...& fell in love with the songs that he wrote The crowds grew with every show that he played & Rudy Ray was well on his way. Women stood in a trance as he sang Six legged lover then finished the dance Take it snake. We spent some years sharing a stage He shaped the way I learned how to play So many thoughts I keep in my heart For the friend that started it all.

Wow!!! What a great and powerful dedication to a friend, someone I don't know or heard of, but by listening to your performance here, he must have been very special. This is a killer song in every way, especially the lead, you killed it Alex, keep up the great works.
