Artist picture
Norm Stinson has been playing guitar and singing since he was a kid. His family and friends have been the only ones who knew. Only about a year ago did he begin to come out of his shell and play in front of “strangers” at open mics and coffee shops. Norm has been well received by his peers. Norm enjoys playing music, but never sacrifices life’s other rewards, such as family and friends. He has a unique balance in his life and it shows in his music. Norm’s musical style is quite diverse. His original songs vary from roots rock to roots country/blues. He really enjoys covering songs from a wide variety of artist. From the Allman Brothers to The Cure. From Hank Williams to Elvis Costello. Throw in some Neil Young, Chris Issak, Rod Stewart, and The Dixie Chicks, and soon you’ll be tapping your toes and singin’ along.

Lyrics
The Ranch By Norm Stinson There’s a place we go where life flows like water. Where children grow up as they play in the sun. Old folks get slower but they’re always so playful. Their stories enrich us and keep us all young. Spirits of those who have come and now gone fill us all up with a loving thought. Their legend remains as we sing our refrains of the songs and the stories they taught. The campfire will rage and become like a stage for the stories and songs we all love. Repeated each time we think of the place where life is shared with people we love. Walking the bank with fly rod in hand, I think of the ones here before me. The big fish they caught and their creels so full, their spirit is setting me free. This ranch we love is a part of our life we live our life with each view, The hills and the streams that we look out upon and the simple things we love to do. The campfire will rage and become like a stage for the stories and songs we all love. Repeated each time we think of the place where life is shared with people we love. This place that we love is a part of our life and no one can take that away Because of the memories of good times and friends our lives are much fuller today. The campfire will rage and become like a stage for the stories and songs we all love. Repeated each time we think of the place where life is shared with people we love. The campfire will rage and become like a stage for the stories and songs we all love. Repeated each time we think of the place where life is shared with people we love.
