Acoustic / Indie, One man band/producer, Any Smiths fans out there?
Just listen to the songs and see what you think. Having said that; I am a 1st year sound engineering degree student with a small home recording set up. I don't claim to be a singer because I know my voice isn't up to scratch but have to try in order to hear my lyrics put to music. I am always looking for someone to sing on my songs for me...any takers? My music is mostly written on acoustic guitar and then later multitracked with suitable backings. Although I sometimes write for various instruments, the guitar is the basis for almost all composition meaning most songs could be considered 'acoustic' in genre. Despite this, the other elements bump it into what I can only describe as Indie.

Story behind the song
Written after watching big brother and feeling utterly disillusioned with society. I know there are idiots out there but in the big brother senario the concentration of idiots got too much for me. It is basically saying what happend to us watching documentaries about flies perhaps on walls rather than constantly observing our species' petty behaviour / lives.
Lyrics
(Verse 1) There once was a time when the fly on the wall held our focus, And we were learning much more, than days just gone by, when I'm wondering why our attention, has turned inward again, (Bridge) (and) My friend, let's talk about, Something else, (and) I shant pretend, to care about, Our petty lives (Chorus) (when) We can kiss all through the night, Or kiss all hope goodbye, Of finding a means of escaping, These tedious times. (Verse 2) We'll soon change the laws that make whores of us all and I'm hopeful, For I'm not at war, But we're watching a show that has reached a new low and it shatters, My faith in my fellow men,
