Lyrics
Introduction (0:00 to 0:40)
When thou goes out to battle against thine enemies, and sees horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people.
Algren's Excerpt (0:40 to 1:00)
May 25th 1877. This will be the last entry in this journal. I've tried to give a true accounting of what I have seen, what I have done. I do not presume to understand the course of my life. I know I am grateful to have partaken of all this, even if for a moment.
Way of the Sword: Words of Naphtali
The Way of the Sword it dawns inside me
The Way of the Sword its gores remind me.
Keep the camp's order, guard on guard.
My rock and iron fortress, hold it down stance
Two edge station my quivers another hand.
Stable pocket, steel of thread, a sheath's withdrawal.
This Way of the Sword is all the warrior got.
You are my sharp sword, you are my weapons of war.
To pluck up, pull out, destroy. To Know my enemies,
Specters, their dead members elected them.
Haunt you, silhouettes, of dark light
Murdered my ancestors, allied the sun and the crescent,
crucifixions our lands hallowed emissions
the borders of wickedness, indignation permanent
Threatened presence, keep it quiet as suspected
the def or jammed can see the crevice.
one drop of honey, 3 sams, formating plain
one rock that turn a mountain, fill the earth, feel his hand
3 founding fathers, Of Canaans lands, hurry me
Drop a 1000 bodies with gunning swords. Dont Worry me.
But one word from rulers ends the war. Stirring me.
Wait soldier stand by... 2, 3, 4, 5 (Speakerphone)
What I draw is my soul, all the fallen soldiers.
Strengthen me from the grave, the sword displays
its replicas, the water in my eyes, infatuate the wicked's blood.
Rest in Peace, Replicates. With the thirst to taste more and more.
See your blessing in war don't make you god.
Mistreat the people, fear of mans deceit, for a mob
No manipulation, only anticipation, of all your swords
Pointed as one to get you ready to see.
My valor's never charity, but my conviction.
See its YAH's hands just who decides. I pray he rides.
Still I rise. Just to die. Just to die. Decision time.
And the officers shall speak unto the people, saying, What man is there that hath built a new house, and hath not dedicated it? let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man dedicate it.
Deu 20:6 And what man is he that hath planted a vineyard, and hath not yet eaten of it? let him also go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man eat of it.
Deu 20:7 And what man is there that hath betrothed a wife, and hath not taken her? let him go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man take her.
Deu 20:8 And the officers shall speak further unto the people, and they shall say, What man is there that is fearful and fainthearted? let him go and return unto his house, lest his brethren's heart faint as well as his heart.
Deu 20:9 And it shall be, when the officers have made an end of speaking unto the people, that th
