Story behind the song
Having heard the love theme in the ballet's balcony scene, I wanted to play it on the piano, but could not find any transcription anywhere, so I set out to transcribe it myself. Having done so I continued to transcribe Ten More Pieces from Romeo and Juliet, as a companion set to Prokofiev's own Ten Pieces from Romeo and Juliet.
