A slightly rare...or at least, a mostly forgotten tune by The Shadows from 1967. As you may or may not know...Hank is from Newcastle...almost next door to Sunderland. He had his tongue firmly in his cheek giving the tune this title. A great tune.

Story behind the song
I was looking through the brilliant graphic novel...Alice and Sunderland by Bryan Talbot recently and found a reference to this tune. I thought that I'd have a go at it. I've purposely steered away from recreating Hanks signature tone in favor of a more over-driven sound. A great tune to play. I had such fun.Hope you enjoy it.

I never knew about this song...great title!! I rather like the tone you've got on this one. Great playing!! I can hear the Shadows signature style...plus a little of your own magic. Excellent stuff :)
