The hottest up-and-coming Christian Hip-Hop stars to come out of Queens, New York. We hoping to take the Hip-hop industry to a new direction.
Champion and Top rated Hip-Hop/Rap group bring it home to urban youth. Using rhythm, rhymes and syntax that agitate the imagination, they go deep with a challenging message of conversion, commitment and the joys of living right with God. Their casual style is disarming yet there is nothing disengaged in their music or story of their faith journey. It is quick, and it is pitched to the ears and hearts of young people looking for meaning, hope and a way to experience the abundant life; Frontliners are unequivocal: it's not drugs, it's not sex, it's not in the exercise of violent, angry power, but the way to the joys of life is the way of faith, hope and love--the greatest, of course, is love. Frontliners duo consists of two siblings wise beyond their age. Both of Haitian background born in Brooklyn, New York. Jean E. Exantus discovered his passion for music at a very young age. He satisfied that passion by taking piano lessons, writing and recording songs on his own and perfecting his rapping skills. While living in Japan, he performed at many local pubs captivating the crowds with his exuberance and lyrical skills. He was known throughout the Japanese community as “MC HOOK”. A year later Exantus returned to the United States, and teamed up with Mainframe (A.K.A. Massive) and Style Skillz. Shortly after, the three went separate ways; Jean decided to further his musical aspiration by attending Five Towns College, majoring in Audio Recording. And smooth vocalist Nikiya Exantus-Singer/Song writer/Actress and Pianist. They consider themselves students of life. Featuring on many Frontliners' track is Multi-talented Award winning songwriter/Producer John G. Oplinger "AKA" Sinima.

Story behind the song
Don't let the industry persuades you to change for the love.
Lyrics
Violated Christopher Wallace, also known as ‘Biggie Smalls,’ got himself involved in beef he couldn’t resolve, as a performer his persona made him known as a baller, he had a beautiful daughter and a wife at his corner, his popularity had girls saying, “Can you marry me?” But all they wanted from him was his high salary, eventually he suffered from paranoia / more money more problems, so that’s fame for ya, don’t you know that drugs are called the destroyer, all it does is just makes your life shorter, how can you see when both eyes are covered, 3, 2, 1, that’s when your days are numbered, once you’re in that when you start to decompose, you sell your soul, so you can hang with the pro’s, I won’t compose anything that goes against my stature, now I know why M.a.s.e. murder became a pastor Chorus The industry kills without taking responsibility, they feed innocence to the enemy, they’re just everyday people starving for some work / but you put ‘em on a platter and carve ‘em for their worth till there’s nothing left but bones tossed to the dirt / it’s like opening a purse and taking stuff that isn’t yours, (yo) understand these aint just dollar bills that you’re making these are real people that you kill for entertainment You’ve been striving so long just to get your songs heard, they know that you’re starving so they sign you long term, and history repeats itself / until we all learn that it’s hard to come back once you make a wrong turn Feeble minds easily persuaded pursued and invaded, highly concentrated with drugs because you’re violated, you thought you finally made it, but a grave is excavated with a tomb stone that has your name written and it’s dated, without a respectable epitaph, your record staff won’t recognize the problems till they all collect your cash / What’s the farthest you’ve gone without a thought in ya head / you’re an artist; to them you’re worth more when you’re dead, then your label calls this incident a coincidence, your boxed like Entimens and then exchanged for Benjamin’s Like on the roof top this pop idol propped up his feet, looked at the street and took a leap onto the concrete Chorus Everyone wants to make it in this show business, but you gotta be prepared when the game switches, they might ask you to be completely different, you might just be the new Brittany Spears image / Don’t be desperate and also quickly receptive, the wicked one loves to see all people tempted, and that’s when the love for the lord will be tested, to the devil you’re worth every investment, I mean it’s logic, if you really think about it, you make him a profit by just acting obnoxious, it’s not gossip, that’s just the way it is / if I fibbed you have the right to punch me in my ribs, the Lord lives, I’m not doing this in vein, does it have to be Sodom and Gomorrah again? I’m fully trained to withstand the ‘most’ fiercest flames; some cut themselves short just for some material gain, what a shame. Chorus
