Story behind the song
I wrote this song to remind myself and my kids that God's Word is a treasure house of priceless gems, waiting to be unearthed. Whether you are reading in Isaiah 53 about the Suffering Servant who died for your sins, or in Proverbs about Wisdom calling in the streets, you will find treasure in every book, every chapter. Make reading His Word a daily part of your life, and you will grow as a believer. It will give you strength for the journey, encouragement for your walk, wisdom to light your path, glimpses of your journey's end. It's been said that a bible that is falling apart is an evidence of a life that is not.
