Story behind the song
New song on a new CD project called "Closer To Home" The floods of change are upon us, as a nation, as the body of Christ. It is getting closer to the coming of Christ again. What shall we do? Many different thoughts out there about which way to go. Jesus said: I am the way, the truth and the life. I believe that and have found this statement to be true in the midst of all the upheaval around us. Hey we all have storms in our lives, I know I do. Jesus also said: in the world you shall have tribulation. I have been finding Jesus is the Lord over our storms and the storms in our country. I believe He is trying to teach those who follow Him to walk on the water of adversity spiritually which is hard for me to do. It is hard for me to get my eyes off my situation so most of the time I sink in the waves of trouble. But Jesus always seems to catch me before I drown in my emotional turmoil. Just a little introduction to this new song I just finished that has the honor of being the first song on a new CD in view called Closer To Home" Only by the Lords grace will I finish this project for sure.
