A Soundclick Musician with over 100 Chart Number 1's. Thank You for visiting today . . . Sincerely - Tony
Visible to Soundclick Members. (A separate domain shows more). Myself and my wife Susan can chalk up a successful life raising kids, and being completely self employed in Entertainment for 39 years. I became full-time pianist at age 26, and by the time I was 31 myself and Susan were establishing an enduring Party Entertainment Business that lasted until 2019 when we retired very timely, a month before Covid. We bought a new house and other small investments. In 2015 we moved from Cheshire UK to Staffordshire UK into a very beautiful area of woodlands, lakes, lowland moors etc. I could clearly see East Cheshire just being a Manchester suburb as the incredible advance of the City of Manchester continued into the 21st century. Our Party Business was "Ace Parties - Tony and Sue" trading from Stockport - then Wilmslow. We were especially known for 3 foot tall Marionettes in our Entertainments. If you want to see the Skeleton in action it's on Videos here. MORE: https://ukpianist.blogspot.com/

Story behind the song
It has come as a complete surprise to me just how many people have heard this tune before, maybe in the distant echoes of youth. To me it was just a dog eared piece of music I learned to play for a Ballet Championship in Liverpool, about 50 years ago at the old Crane Theatre which I think is now called something else. This was for the Joan Bates School of Dancing in Stockport, UK. I remember the young girl's name was Fiona Mitchell. It's a piece that gives me a warm feeling though as well. Copyright Issues: whitepiano@protonmail.com or abuse@soundclick.com state who you are, verify who you are, and reason for objection. I have never given this piece as a free download nor put it up for sale by the way. I think it's nice that it is probably getting heard now here on Soundclick more than possibly any other Radio or online media, and it rightly deserves to be heard, don't you agree?

Excellent 'ye olde world' sounding piece, sentimental and sweet as it should be, lovely. And that Welsh Griffin made somewhat melancholy, my wife is Welsh right down to her toes, having visited Wales with her several times I have become a bit of an honorary Taff myself. I remember the last time the man in the toll booth at the border said to my wife with that musical accent, "welcome home" I myself got a tear in the eye, sweet. Ahem, I have a new piece, 'Slowburn', a progressive suite of several short sections you may like? Here it is in music/video/photos form on YouTube: https://youtu.be/NzL2KB9No3I Or here on SoundClick: https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14654944 Please have a look when you have time! All the best, Mauri.

A classic that still echoes in my mind as I dream of my youth, this is VERY well done without the stiffness, or overt urgency that so often is injected, your interpretation is like a comfortable friend strolling along on a sunny day..

I grew up with wonderful music like this alongside of the 'new' Rock & Roll' of the 1950's.. Glad I found this pleasant reminder of why I love music so much.
