Story behind the song
While working in Australia on a business visa, I was required to leave the country every three months and traveled to three tropical locations. I like to consider myself a traveler rather than a tourist, but these trips had to be contained into long weekends, and therefore, gave me the experience of traveling as a middle-class, white, male tourist.
