Story behind the song
I listened to it many times and figured that I cannot play it as well as my kassa interpretation, however compared to Andalusian flamenco Compass patterns, it is with this interpretation possible for me to play it. “Mendiani” has become one of the most popular jembe rhythms among American drumming enthusiasts. I usually play it slightly different. Source B. Michael Williams and Mamady Keita.
Lyrics
No known lyrics, maybe in african language, but I never heard it. Please dance to this, don't sing.
