Story behind the song
The picture shows my father Jindrich Jiri Kosta (born Kohn) who liked to be driven on the wheelchair, he always loved to walk, and to go for a walk, my sister Ivana was a wonderful daughter, who drove him through the park of Bad Homburg called Kurpark.
And to say "I've been driving on a wheelchair" is not ironical at all, on the contrary: it is a very serious and important issue of the society and health to be able to move or to be moved by help, and this help is important, because if we had no wheelchairs, these people could never have such a life like my father had in the last 3 years before he passed away with 93 years old. I loved him and this song is for him and all people in the same situation. We could be also those I am talking about. So solidarity and empathy is important but also a very clear support.
