Story behind the song
Ruachiah was looking for some good classic words from some of his favorite teachers in the House of Yisrael; Intentions of unity here and there would be good with all the negativity. Some of his favorite teachers are indeed found on "Thou Art With Me".
In the beginning of the interlude there is a Jamaican accent with children speaking at a family gathering. Ruachiah was trying to find a good video on Youtube where someone was reciting Psalms 23 and stumbled across this perfect one! Cojack was suppose to make the pre-song interlude when he was dropping knowlede on the bermuda triangle and how salt water and regular water were divided by a blessing from the Most High.
Cool story about the last teacher Mordecai is that Ruachiah actually asked a question in class that would be answered by the last message in the song. And Elisha the Prophet was actually one of Ruachiah's favorite people in the sciptures when it came to War. Overall this is one of Ruachiah's favorite interludes.
Lyrics
Introduction: Moreh Elisha w. Congregation
Psalms 23 (A Psalm of David)
YAH is my shepard I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in the path of righteousness for his name sake.
Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.
I will fear no evil for thou art with me.
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.
Thou anointed my head with oil.
My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
And I will dwell in the House of YAH forever. HALLELUYAH
Moreh Yoel: Psalms 50 (Psalm of Asaph)
From the rising of the sun until the going down thereof.
Out of Zion the perfection of beauty Elohim has shined.
Our Elohim shall come and shall not keep silence.
A fire shall devour before him.
And it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
He shall call to the heaven above and the earth.
That he may judge his people.
Gather my saints together unto me.
Those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
And the heavens shall declare his righteousness
For Elohim is judge himself. Selah
Hear, O my people and I will speak.
O Israel. And I will testify against thee.
I am Elohim even thy Elohim.
I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices.
Nor thy burnt offerings which have been continually before me.
I will take no bullock out of thine house.
Nor he goats out of thy folds.
For every beast of the forest is mine.
And the cattle upon a thousand hills.
I know all the fowls of the mountains.
And the wild beast of the field are mine.
If I were hungry I would not tell thee.
For the world is mine and the fullness thereof.
Will eat the flesh of bulls and drink the blood of goats?
Offer unto Elohim thanksgiving and pay thy vows unto the Most High.
And call upon me in the day of trouble.
I will deliver thee and thou shalt glorify me.
But unto the wicked...
Moreh Michal: Testimony
But look at how we do and the almighty like, come back home.
I'm a clean you up, wipe you down, and accept you back.
And as soon as we accept him, as soon as he accepts us back.
It says we rested. We rested from doing good.
To go back to doing evil. We went back to being a whore again.
So now we are in positions to where we are in astonishment.
Astonishment means in awe. Other nations.
When I use to stay down here.
I know there was a group of orientals
That was driving up the street taking pictures
What were they taking pictures of?
You animals, we are animals.
Other nations look at us like man you got a Elohim thats real.
But yet you want to serve a god of your oppressor? Yo god.
The god you want to serve don't even look like you.
Don't even look nothing like you.
I don't care how many pictures you want to paint of him.
Being black with locks... the original image of this god...
Is what was used to oppress and depress our minds.
Moreh Mordecai: Open This Man's Eyes
In the book of... I think it was 2 Kings
When the Prophet Elisha
He told the Almighty to open thou this man's eyes.
And he opened this mans eyes, cuz he thought...
When they were going out to war, he thought...
Well were going to be defeated by our enemies
And he said... And Elisha said " Open this man's eyes".
So he could see and when he opened his eyes
He saw all those angels with all those swords out there.
Ready to go devour and fight for them.
So the Almighty is always there even when we can't see him.
And that's something we got to remember.
