Story behind the song
My mother had just grounded me for doing something really stupid. When I was sitting in my bedroom I started writing this song. Originally it was a song about how mad I was about being grounded but it soon turned into a song about life (the good, bad, happy, sad and fun)

Stuck in my room again, one day’s gone that I should’ve been having fun, getting caught doing things that were dumb. Friends call me on my phone. It’s too late and I really can’t help but hate her, stay up and prank the neighbors, all I wanted. To hang out with my friends seize the day until it ends and all I needed. Sit back and rewind, find fun times I’ve had in my life. Growing up is such a pain, one less day that I could’ve been a little younger; staying up watching “Dumb and Dumber”. Doing school is such a drain, one less day that I could’ve been jumping chipster; staying up and killing my hamsters, all I wanted.
