I am a musical journeyman, and have been recording (on and off) in a home studio, since about 1988. I experiment with different forms, methods, and styles,
I began to recording on a cassette 4-track (Tascam Porta-One) in 1988, and enjoying the whole process of recording sounds, I then purchased an Atari ST, running Cubase Vs1. I moved on to a digital 8-track in about 1998 (Roland VS-880) and then to a more modern mac setup, which I'm using now. I am a visual artist, as well as a musical experimenter, an dI believe this does inform the way I work.

Story behind the song
Patched together from song fragments, lyrics, and the feeling those gave me!
Lyrics
Behind The Oblong Door There’s always room for one more, behind the oblong door (x 2) We hide our Peccadillo’s from nosy armadillo’s, and well dressed moon’s in yellow, rising in the far horizon of the sea, A tentacle reaches upwards, towards the peach of wisdom, And to distant shores (x 2) we’ve dipped our oars (x 2) to distant shores we’ll go, To fragrant climes, and under calming palms, to pleasant streams below, and pearly shells are calling us, a drum beats out the time, And pearly shells are calling us, and a drum beats out the time, Perhaps it doesn’t matter, at the end of the day, the continent’s are linked, in cavern’s fused from molten rock, far as the eye can see, lie cities of the ancient one’s, We came up from the sea, glimmering so splendidly (so splendidly) So splendidly, so splendidly, in their wisdom craft, they soar far beyond our sun, And as far as we roam, this world of ours, one thing remains in place, it’s the secret seed we hide inside, to fly to the other place (x 3) There’s always room for one more, behind the oblong door, behind the oblong door, We hide our peccadillo’s we hide our peccadillo’s, there’s always room for one more, behind the oblong door!
