It's about the songs. I'm not so much a singer-songwriter as a songwriter-singer. I do not fit into a genre. The genre fits the song. They range from rock to country ditties, from standard lounge ballads to power pop, from blue-eyed r&b to country rock. I sing almost all the vocals and play almost all the music (mostly on keyboard) but, as I said, it's about the songs.

Lyrics
You wake up every morning greeted by a brand new day Don't give it a second thought, just get up, get on your way It goes on for a lifetime more or less Till you find you're face to face with The Heaviness Oh The Heaviness Every day is a gift, yeah you heard it all before It don't mean anything till you don't have anymore You don't wanna think about it, you say that it's best Cause you just can't deal with all The Heaviness Oh The Heaviness One day you're here, the next you're gone Leave it all behind now, you're movin on Mary had her first child when she learned she soon would die She'd have loved even one more day before she had to say goodbye She gave that child the rest of her life and felt like she was blessed To at least have brought one more soul into The Heaviness Oh The Heaviness
