Story behind the song
Maui Blues, a play on words, as this song celebrates the many varieties of the color blue that Maui has to offer. Using my Asher 6 string Hawaiian Lap Steel tuned to C6th for this laid back Hawaiian Blues.

Hawaai comes to mind hearing you slideing that lapsteel. Aspecialy the high notes have the good vibes of warm and sandy beeches. Well done!

I like the way you paint pictures with music, it conjures a place where everything looks brighter and clearer, with intense colors. Superb chill-out kinda music.

I can tell you love this place - this tune just transports you to that island paradise. Never been there myself but this makes me want to visit! Great perfectly lazy carefree blues - wonderful stuff.
Another surprise, a bit of blue Hawaii. Very cool (yet warm) in concept, sweetly executed. This one just stops time.

Nice steel control, you musta got a good hand/ear co-ordination. I find it hard enough with frets ! Great moody piece. Kudos. Love that long slide towards the end.

The twang reminds me of swaying palms and blue waters. Sliding on down to the surf. Sweet tune!
