Story behind the song
I used to do a lot of hitch hiking when I was younger. Once, while passing through Oklahoma....
Lyrics
I was standing Outside of the Greyhound Station in Downtown OKC When a Limo pulled up and a one armed Priest Introduced Himself to Me. He Asked if I wanted a place to stay Free cigarettes and Three meals a day He was the Bingo King of Oklahoma City Well, I worked Father Dolans Bingo Tables for about a week or so One day he told me that I didn’t fit in and I would have to go. I didn’t take the time to ask him why I just packed my things and said goodbye to the Bingo King of Oklahoma City Just after Thanksgiving of 88 they found Father Dolan Dead Somebody had entered his apartment and smashed in his head. His Car was found near an overpass with the tires missing and out of gas He was the Bingo King of Oklahoma City c.2013 David Damroze
