Welcome to my page here at Soundclick. I'm a guitarist and composer, jazz mostly but I do wander into some more eclectic things on occasion. Been retired from State of Illinois since 2014. Currently working with the group Ocean State, and booking my own trio/quartet things on occasion. Also working on a variety of recording projects from my 'home studio'. It's all good.

Story behind the song

The title was taken from a passage in Nietzsche's The Genealogy of Morals, p. 63: Alas, melancholy man, with his paroxysms of perversity,...Seems to me that Paroxysms of Perversity could also be the name of a death metal band. Musically, I was after a trance effect. I may add more to the existing mix, or maybe leave well enough alone.
