Story behind the song
This song revolves around a snake oil salesman. We all know the stuff they sold didn't work, but they were good at pretending it did. In fact, they were who we saw them to be. However, is our life worth so little that we would waste it on pretending to be someone we are actually not? Time is ticking away.
