A bible-based worship song based on - Isaiah 42:13; Joel 2:11-12; Eph 6:13; Rev 19:11-16
Story behind the song
This is a bit of fun. I recorded it at a prayer meeting at church. I played acoustic guitar and used an Alesis SR-16 for drums. The main source was the excellent Lauren Leigh on keyboard.
It was bit of an experiment as I was using Reaper on an old laptop with the sources coming in through my trusty M Audio Audiophile USB (eBay 50) which is an amazing piece of kit enabling me to capture 2 channels of audio plus two extra "audio" channels via SPDIF plus the drums and keyboard via MIDI.
When I got it all home I was able to:
1. Edit the MIDI drums, to make it more interesting,
2. Give my acoustic guitar an alternate "electric" voice,
3. Add a bass guitar part, and
4. Give the excellent kb some extra voices
The evening was a lot of fun with the addition of an open mic and percussion.
