Story behind the song
We look up at the night sky. As dark clouds swallow the stars. We hear a low end rumble. It sounds almost like thunder, only it is somehow more alive. Perhaps like the growl of an unseen creature...

The low drone sets the stage for some pretty intense and suspenseful twists and turns! Like a chameleon it changes into another frightning soundscape over and over again. Love the industrial guitar parts. Great fx and mixing. There is so much going on in this track it is hard to stay focused! Great job to all involved!

WOW!! Simply fantastic! A great great track Al, with all the rafinesses a music genius can provides. Loved the stereo panning fx´s at the intro, introducing the listener into a " mistery" world. Exceptional the change at 2:12, the Bass line at about 2:35...... OMG, a brillant riff, superb!! I really enjoyed the track, with so elegant guitar accents in it, the strings crescendo starting at 4:39 is the icing on the cake imho!!! My congrats Al, another distinctive hit made by Mr. Al Massey!! :)

Dark and delicious piece! The change at 2.13 mark gave me the chills.I noticed Morten talk about listening to this with higher volum - I too did that. Its yust that kind a track. All the beautyful synth-sounds and the bass entering at 2.30 is very good.Absolutely love the guitar-inlays!!! Stunning quality in musicionship and sound. This is a feast for the ears my friend!

This is one of my favorites from the challenge. Love the tension and darkness and the music is divine, especially those strings. Nice work!

Omg! This track is huge and scary good! I just love the dark sounds you've used here. Screaming guitar! I just have to turn this one up loud! Interesting change around 02:15. Beautiful haunting keys and groovey bass. Love the sound of the drumkit! that snare wow! Love the filmscore like horns and the cool guitar work! Then some serious epic orchestral work! Followed by some dark and great sounding synth work! And then another screaming guitar solo at the end. This track really got it all. Too bad it had to fade out and end. I will have to give it another spin right away. This is truly a masterpiece! I wouldnt be surprised if i hear this in a future blockbuster horror movie. Awesome work!!!
This boils and grows, expanding above you. Alien guitars and organic synthesis; this is an impressive soundscape. There's a light that comes in a third through and the nebulous forms take shape by way of a groove. Instead of looming over the listener, it feels like we're travelling through it. The sense of danger returns for the final act, and now were falling into... who knows? I really like how this takes chances and pushes expectations so deliberately and so successfully. Bravo, Al.
This is Great! Your Work is Unique and Awesome. Each piece entirely different from the next. Masterfully Done! Guitar Work is amazing and the arrangement and production is perfect. Thanks for sharing these works and the inspiration you provide to others here. Bravo!

I just finished watching "Sleepy Hollow" (Depp) - and now I'm listening to this goosebump of a Halloween piece... wonder if I'll get to sleep tonight :) Yeah...I will :) Some frantic guitar rides that definitely fit the scary theme - following into a smooth jazz pop - and back to that spookiness - awesome entry Al!

This is a tremendous track! The intro is great as are the torturous, psilocin induced guitar solos. The transition out of the bridge at 2:54 to an ultra chic vibe which morphs at 3:40 into one the baddest and hippest vamps around - soooo gooood. The orchestration at 4:37 is awesome! What you have created is as good as any music soundtrack could get - it's just phenomenal music Al - bravo!

This one is grabbing me from the first moment on. I'm a part of the story which is dramatical and scary. At the start you know something bad is going to happen. A strong tension from the beginning. Around 0:25 I hear kind of voices, ghosts. Feels very dark in this magnificent soundscape. Around 1:00 it's slowly turning into another direction. Oh, I love the moment when that scratching guitar is coming in. Wow! 2:20: there is coming a bit of light (and hope?) when a catchy groove is coming in. Oh, that bass together with the synths on the background. Great moment when that beat is coming in. It's constantly changing, never stays the same. 4:50: Tension is getting stronger again. Great use of violins, so visual and cinematic. 5:07: Great moment with that dark bass synth (or is it a guitar?). After this moment such a lot is happening. Really a pity it's going to an end. I have the feeling this could last for hours. Wow Al, for me this is one of your best. And very differ

Oh yes...I'm gripped by the building tension! The different instruments creep in and add a new dimension and emotion. Very clever arrangement - I like the drama that comes with the strings. Superb piece of music that creates some vivid pictures in the mind. Another masterpiece Al!
