Story behind the song
One Sunday, the pastor asked me to prepare a song for the upcoming World Communion Sunday service. "No problem," I confidently replied. SO, that evening I searched the Web for an appropriate song to create a track arrangement for, or just to present with simple guitar and voice. I searched until Wednesday evening and came up empty-handed. So, a bit panicked, I determined, "I'm gonna have to WRITE this thing!" SO, I pulled out some of my ideas and came upon one where I was experimenting with a (REAL) Curbow 'Petite' bass to get it to give me a great pop sound. So, I put the word-processor on the left screen and the DAW on the right, and wrote a line at a time, recording and perfecting each line, then moving on to the next. I finished the song early Thursday morning, went to work and returned. I perfected the tracks, adding a synth, some percussion, and a little (very little) mastering and came up with this performance.
