This is Jeff Kratzman's Christian Page. I have two categories one for Secular and one for Christian songs. I've had a lifelong relationship with Christ and not to explore the spiritual side in music, would be foolish. I hope you enjoy the songs and take the time to follow-up on some of the Bible verses that inspired the songs. I welcome all feedback, but unpleasantness will just be deleted. This isn't a forum for theological debate. If you don't want to listen to Christian Music, try the Jeff Kratzman - Songs link. There's another 50 songs there.

Story behind the song
The song started out with a theological discussion that there is no Revival without Repentance. The great awakenings are proceeded by repentance. This song birthed from the simplicity of Gipsy Smith drawing a chalk circle on a barn floor, stepping in and praying fervently that God start a revival within that circle. Humbly and contritely confessing your past and submitting yourself to do God's Will. I have embedded scripture reference inline with the lyrics. God Bless!
Lyrics
1. Stains on the cross from hands and feet A chunk wood where God and sin meet I can’t overstate the simple fact That God came to save me from me 2. Why is remembering so hard for me? The fact you came itself is Glory An overwhelming and palpable need Yet here I am part of the Gospel story Shame No repentance without feeling shame No way I can cover up the stains That are permanently part of me Shame The very reason that you came To wipe away these stains To pay the price for me 3. Come and let us argue this out (Isaiah 1:18) Sin is never to be taken casually I could burn a candle every day of my life Everyone could see I wasn’t Jesus’s prize 4. For no matter how I cleanse myself The memory of my sin cannot be erased(Rom 3:24) Only through a purer blood(Heb 9:22) Can my sin be turned to snow(Isaiah 1:18)
