Keep focused on your job,don't get fired....double check
When its quitting time don't go and sit at home....check
Call some buddies up ,find a place to go....check
Have some fun ,try to talk to a girl....check
Whatever you do don't think about her....dang it
I've got a list of things I'm supposed to do
To help me get over the pain she put me though
I knock em out one by one,crossing out things I've done
But there's one thing I haven't finished yet
Forgetting her is a box that I can't check
It's the weekend try to get some sunshine....check
Hit that fishing hole and drop in a line.....check
Load up that cooler and hitch up that boat....check
Call up your grandpa ,you know he'll wanna go....check
Ignore the temptation to stay in tonight.....check
Text that pretty blonde you met the other night...check
Go out to dinner dance the night away....check
Don't let it bother you if that old song plays......crap
