No band... just me.
***** Updated 9-10-2007 ***** 9/10/07 New song added to my Music page. I recently returned to the music business after retiring in 1985. I played professionally for 15 years prior to retiring. I've been working on my guitar/bass playing as well as my vocals for the past few years in hopes of starting or getting back into a consistant and professional band. Had a couple of projects that didn't work out (2005 & 2006) but I'm still hoping to run into the right folks. If I have to live in one genre it would be Southern Rock even though I also play & write Rock, Pop, and Country with a little Blues, Soul, Jazz, and Bluegrass thrown in for spice. When you listen to one of my songs in a way I have touched your life, that is very cool Also check out my MySpace site... http://www.myspace.com/mickradar or my SongRamp home... http://www.songramp.com/homepage.php?Who=Pops

Story behind the song
References in the second verse are from The Honeymooners TV Show that ran in the 60's. "One of these days, Alice... to the moon!" Ralph Kramden would say shaking his fist.
Lyrics
Lonesome Lovesick Blues (© 2004 Michael Adair) And I read the letter You wrote just the other day And tears came to my eyes When I read what it had to say And when I came to the paragraph That you told me about what I’d done I threw it down on the ground And I started to run Don’t you know – Here comes another heartache Don’t you know – Here comes another broken soul Never mind the heartbreak until it goes I said till it goes… that’s why I say to you… I don’t know what to say anymore I don’t know what to do Around and around and around I go With the lonesome lovesick blues (Lead Break) Don’t you know – Here comes another heartache Don’t you know – Here comes another broken soul Never mind the heartbreak until it goes I said till it goes… that’s why I say to you… I don’t know what to say anymore I don’t know what to do Around and around and around I go With the lonesome lovesick blues Now I’m feeling better I even think I’m gonna be OK I got away from all your lies But Lord it was hell to pay And if I ever see you again It’s gonna be way too soon But if I do… You’ll go to the moon, Alice (Repeat Bridge) (Repeat Chorus 4 times) (Ending)
