Story behind the song
The Isaiah 9:6-7 Lion of Judah a.k.a. Jesus a.k.a. Yeshua, who was born in Bethlehem of Judea, about six miles South of Jerusalem, in the Nation of Israel, prayed for Unity to transcendentally reign in the midst of all His Disciples throughout the generations.
According to John 17:20-23(NLT), Jesus/Yeshua prayed to The FATHER, "...I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in Me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as You and I are one; as You are in Me, FATHER, and I am in You. And may they be in Us so that the World will believe You sent Me. I have given them the glory You gave Me, so they may be one as We are one. I am in them and You are in Me. May they experience such perfect unity that the World will know that You sent Me and that You love them as much as You love Me..."
Ephesians 4:11-16(NKJV), "...And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the Saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of The Body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of The Son of GOD, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking The Truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is The Head- Christ from whom the whole Body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of The Body for the edifying of itself in love."
According to Matthew 24:4-14(NKJV), Jesus/Yeshua reveals the times we are living in with warnings by declaring, "...Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, I am the Christ, and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For Nation will rise against Nation, and kingdom against KINGDOM. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all Nations for My names sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this Gospel of The KINGDOM will be preached in all the World as a witness to all the Nations, and then the end will come."
"Let Your KINGDOM come LORD, let Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Thoroughly purge us and endow us with a heart that is pleasing to Your heart so that we can become unified as one in Spirit. And as we become one in Your Spirit and unify according to Your will, we look forward to being blessed with Your Psalm 133:3 Commanded Blessing, in this life and the Eternal Life to come, in Jesus' name."
