Story behind the song
This is a song for the 21 dogs held by Ontario SPCA. I wrote the lyrics as though the dogs could talk, thinking of what they may say to the OSPCA if they could, because although they were 'saved' their lives are still very much in the balance and I believe welfare organisations should do as much as possible to help dogs which have been rescued from alleged fighting crimes, in order that they have the chance to be rehabilitated if necessary and life after abuse. I also do not believe any dog should be condemned for the way it looks and victims should not have to fight for their lives. Petition and information links below.
