I truly love this tune. The lyrics really paint a picture. Every guy in the world has been here at least once.

I am a guitar player. I love the blues, and blues rock. Its real soulful. Its real southern. Muddy and Albert. Jimi and Eric. Nothing stirs my soul like the visceral howl of the electric blues. Sometimes I'm pretty over-the-top, and sometimes I just feel so heavy. But, I love it now, just as much as ever. I wanted to share it with you. Randy

Story behind the song
Martin Anderson & The Usual Suspects Martin Anderson: Singer/songwriter Angela Hurt: Female vocals Neal Bowen: Bass Andy Parrish: Drums Randy McFarland: Guitars Recorded live at Gene Breeden Studios (Nashville). Overdubs at Tower Mastering (Nashville). Martin's lyrical gift really shows in this one. I feel like I'm there in the song, how 'bout you? Neal plays a fretless bass on this one. Very nice touch! Guitar Notes: Fender MIM Tele played through the Bogner Metropolis, Schizo 2. The rhythm is set with gain at about 1/3 up, and the leads are set with the gain at about 1/2 up. The Fralin Blues Special gets a really sweet bluesy tone.
