Howdy Jamey,
It's that natural simplistic wonder that we all have from the start about our dad....he can do anything, he's Superman! The awe and love grows each day from the time we can talk, until we realize that he's only human, then we learn to love him even more and the awe as well, because of the awesome gifts that dads do, comes from the head, as well the heart! .....And one of those awesome gifts is you, the others.....your brothers and sisters. He's an extension of your mom, of you, your sibs and one of the first links to your outside world. He passes on to you what he's culled, learned and earned in wisdom with stories of that big outside world....cause he's your Dad! Jamey, you've captured this and more in this heartfelt song in the simple words, lyrically phrased to capture the innocence of the days of a wide eyed child looking up to his Dad. Even as time has passed with event after event of his growth and your own,.....you're glad you had your Dad! Loads of love & wisdom i
This song, like all your tunes, comes across as so sincere and your delivery is always emotional. I also like your minimalist approach which lets everything speak its peace instrumentally and lets the lyrics take the spotlight and flow with the melody. Nice job my friend. Never hesitate to drop a link if you post a new tune. I'm a fan.
