Lyrics
I care about my Scottie dog And keep in mind his needs: Sunshine, food, fresh water, Maybe even weeds? Dandelions, quackgrass, Plantain, Queen Anne's lace - All of them are welcome Inside my Scottie's space. My neighbor's lawn, a model - Lush and verdant grass. But if their gardener offers, I'll tell him that I pass. I worry 'bout my Scottie dog. Weeds won't bruise my pride. My Scottie means too much to me; Don't want no herbicide! The perfect turf eludes me. I'm too afraid to spray. I'll just call them wildflowers, And invite the weeds to stay. My little dog, he digs and romps, Stalks bugs and eats the dirt. I have a fence to keep him safe, Don't want him to get hurt. My worries now have been confirmed By Perdue's research study. Appears that lawn care chemicals Can harm my Scottish buddy. I worry 'bout my Scottie dog. Weeds won't bruise my pride. My Scottie means too much to me; Don't want no herbicide!
