Story behind the song

This is an updated version of a song i uploaded as The Time Being in 2008.

The song was mixed at 12 bits, 32KHz, undersampled; converted to 256 kbps mp3 file; then uploaded at 160 kbps.  So it is basically a lo-fi digital recording. The pops came from a sound card conflict, and the sour notes are mine, The familiar presence peak is from a Shure SM58. If you can differentiate the high frequency noise from the reverb, that is digital artifact from the12 bit 32 KHz conversion. Bass response was also reduced. I used Imogen Heap's "Hide & Seek" as my reference track, although it hardly sounds like it, and most of that track is harmonizer generated, while all of mine is sung except for the low bass doubling.
