This is an updated version of a song i uploaded as The Time Being in 2008. The song was mixed at 12 bits, 32KHz, undersampled; then converted to 256 kbs mp3 file. So it is basically a lo-fi digital recording.

Story behind the song
This is an updated version of a song i uploaded as The Time Being in 2008. The song was mixed at 12 bits, 32KHz, undersampled; converted to 256 kbps mp3 file; then uploaded at 160 kbps. So it is basically a lo-fi digital recording. The pops came from a sound card conflict, and the sour notes are mine, The familiar presence peak is from a Shure SM58. If you can differentiate the high frequency noise from the reverb, that is digital artifact from the12 bit 32 KHz conversion. Bass response was also reduced. I used Imogen Heap's "Hide & Seek" as my reference track, although it hardly sounds like it, and most of that track is harmonizer generated, while all of mine is sung except for the low bass doubling. So how do you like the sound of 12 bit?
