Story behind the song
Invisible me is about my self introspection. Becoming the observer of my life began with my introspection. Paying attention to my thinking, thoughts, habits and patterns and asking the why’s is how I discovered I was invisible to my own consciousness. This song describes how I question my being; question myself and all the many aspects that have been fragmented without my knowing to begin the process of self integration. Kind of like the movie the Dark Crystal. The crystal was cracked and created fragmented beings that were of the same being. The shard being restored to the crystal is an example of the integration of my being.

Knowing pain falls into suppression; giving rise to misguided
reflection. Why do I lust and cringe prying eyes. I will, I wont,
I want, I don’t, a yes, a no, I hide, I bolt; a pattern so undeniable.
It covers the pain of feeling invisible. Oh!

So I’ve found this surface infliction. Pursuing deeper degree of
inspection, might I ask us the cause of infection; possibly the
result of rejection. Why am I blind within my own eyes. I see,
I don’t, I cry, I choke, default assault, mislead result. A process
so UN-regrettable. Feelings of shame has you feeling invisible. Oh!

Looking for “what” is the primary question. That’s the purpose of
this introspection. Bringing light to the dark is awareness.
Knowing “what” doesn’t come til you find it. Asking why
wakes you up to the lie. I will, I wont,I want, I don’t,
a yes, a no, I hide, I bolt; A pattern is undeniable.
