Great funky soundtrack, all set for a movie! That slap bass is too cool as are all the other subtle and not so subtle touches. You are a master of composition. Huge funky urban vibe. The vocal samples are a trip. This is one hell of a funkalicious stew my friend! Nice job as always!

This one is very retro and funky, and I immediately recognize you in it. Very wide sounds, suiting for the dance floor of a crazy (retro) party.
Oh I like that bass, I like the keyboards, the rhythm guitar, brass, voice samples and how it all flows. Giving a good feeling again, going some years back in time. Wondering if it really was better in the 80's. Without SoundClick?
Nice one Al! Your signature!

Relaxed and energetic at the same time (an admirable feat in itself), and a spectacular piece and arrangement.

Agree with Morten that this one stands on its own. Super slap-bass in there along with the brakes and vocal-clips brass and all.
This one defently end up in my DAW for shure.
Well done once again my friend!

Awesome work Al.
I see you're calling it a backingtrack, but to me this one stands very well on its own. Its a great sounding track with lots of nice little details.
Excellent work!
Thanks for sharing!

Great downbeat! This retro funk is very cool, Al. This makes me consider the fine line between jazz-funk music. I do like some of the "uptown funk" stuff but this is like "roots funk" or in a similiar way that "Americana" is like folk-rock. Sounds great!

Get down with your bad self! Slaptastick, just funkin' great - you da man! :D
I like the smooth guitar contrasting with the funkified elements but then that 1:14 section just turns the whole thing on its head - fantastic! Killer bass, energetic grooves, a perfect balance between nicely grounded and interstellar fonk.

Think some of the best jazz funk music came from the 80s and 90s this track reminds of me of D Sanbourne you've captured the mood and era perfectly love the horn arrangements, overall another brilliant track.

Really snappy funky tune! Bass has a killer sound and those drums provide a tight funky beat for an overall excellent assortment of keyboard and fx additions throughout! I thought I heard a little Farfisa organ going on in there too. Really nice listen, quite a toe tapper!

Captivating funkiness! Awesome production (listening on headphones to grab every detail!). That bass has got me wanting to hop around, love the brass and the vocal interjections - the arrangement is superb! Uplifting, fun and expertly created.

Now this is MASTERFUL!! The Professor teaching the class. Farfisa organ, cool! Doesn't matter what the instrument is a great musician will make good music with it, or great music in the case. Great bass, guitar, horns, synth, sampling et al, a true tour-da-force! Your guitar work is very good Al! Is this a backer track? God help any one who tries it on if it is. Bravo!

Yes, what a slap bass man.... funky funky, retro sound...! :)
A Farfisa? Where in the world you found this?? ;) I remember the Farfisa that the keyboard player used in our band once ago (in the mid-end 70´s) he played this instead of an Hammond (too expensive indeed).
As always pristine arrangement and cool rythm, well positioned horn sections and the hip-hop vocals-fx fits very good in the context! Gratulate to an explosiv-funky-cascade-tune Al!! :) :)
always everything in its place and emerging at just the right time. seamless transitions with a ton of interesting little details....in other words Al doing his thing.
